Why Hazelwood…!
Just like any other year, CSK are best in their business. There had very little requirements, like just for pace bowling department. They had DJ Bravo, D Chahar, S Thakur and some more.
In last auction they went for some good buys like Sam Curran, R Sai Kishore and most surprisingly Joshe Hazelwood . No one ever thought that he is going to get an IPL contract this year. But out of no where CSK came and steal him at his base price.
I don’t think he would be a good buy for IPL but having MS Dhoni as captain going to play a crucial role for his career in international cricket and in IPL as well . Mahi knows how to use the player and bring the best out of him. Josh got a decent BIG BASS profile as you can see his stats below:-

Still he got very less chances in T-20 internationals , he is currently like Australian Ishant Sharma who dose well in test but because of that test bowler tag somewhere there national teams ignoring them and there is also a lot of competition to get place in national side .
Finally we can except some good performance from Josh if he gets chance in playing 11 because CSK 4 Overseas most probably are going to be Watson , Faf , bravo and either Mitch sant or Sam Curran because of there all-rounder ability. But if Josh gets a chance then we can say that he can do miracles under the captaincy of MSD.
